ok. so i suck at updating. so much has happened since we last spoke. my new years resolution is to update more often.... yeah right. hope you've had a lovely holiday season...

first of all, the DIY miss cupcake launched. You can find her in most of the same stores that are carry the OG version. so check out the toys page for a list where you can pick her up, take her home, make promises you'll never keep... speaking of, send us photos of your customs. we are excited to see what you can do with her. Series 2 is in the design phase now, and the artists for the artist series have been locked down as well, so look forward to seering lots more of us in the coming months.

started painting again. so check those out in the paintings section. sometimes printmaking just isn't tactile enough for me sometimes. plus, you don't need a gigantic table to make paintings, so it's much more convenient for those middle of the night art cravings.

a couple more interviews at Drifter Media and entertaining things . So be sure to go read those and fill your brain with things you never wanted to know about me. ok. go out in the yard and play, have a bit of a runaround and report back later.

hello folks! so much news. so little space.

miss cupcake made her debut last month and we've received many nice emails from her new friends. Urban Outfitters is carrying the miss cupcake DIY figure in stores, so be sure to get one of those, colour her up and email your picture to me. i want to see all the great takes on her, and i will start a gallery of them for your visual enjoyment.
series 2 is now in the works with some new exciting flavours to taste.

I did a little interview with the nice folk over at I Am The Trend. Check it out. Also, Freshbump did a little feature on me, as well.

have a few street projects in the works for our travels in the next month. keep your eyes out, barcelonialiens!

so today is the day when miss cupcake is released to the world. i will have more news on where you can pick her up in the next couple of weeks. for now, try omoi in philiadelphia, my plastic heart in NYC or check with our producer at dreamland toyworks. as of august 9th, miss cupcake is also available online only at urban outfitters

she's also been featured on a few blogs in the past days: thank you to hooked blog, format mag, vinyl pulse, esp visuals, spanky stokes, peel magazine, existing visual, PPM mag, En Derin, No One Puts Cupcake in the Corner, All Things Cupcake, Planet of the Sanquon, and My Swag, among others. hopefully soon, the entire world will be awash in her confectionary goodness.

ok. so let's see. did i keep my promise to update regularly? no. i know. i'm a slacker. but i did change up the design again. i vow (did you hear me, VOW) to update the art sections and the store in the next week.
But there's news to be had. FINALLY, yes FINALLLLY, miss cupcake will be released at the end of the month. The toys are at the distributors and just itching to make their way out into this world and I will have the info on where you can buy them very soon. oh, and in addition to the 4 colourways, there is a chase. it is very cute. and tasty.

and a happy new year to you! i know i have sucked about updating the site the last year.. but i have been busy, and things get neglected.. but i promise i will be more attentive...see? i even redesigned for you to have something new to look at.
so on to what's going on. lookit there at that picture to the left. what is it, you ask? why it is miss cupcake going into production in china. there will be 4, count 'em, 4 colourways coming out, so you have plenty of flavours to choose from. there are more prints in the shop, and other items are coming soon, so stay tuned for that.

oh what a busy year it's been. let's have some news then:miss cupcake will be making her debut as a vinyl toy in the next month or so. there will be 3 flavours/colourways, so watch out for all the yummy sweetness.the nice people at nelly duff in hackney are selling a couple of my prints now. they are nice peoples.go support them if you are in london.i will be releasing 3 or new prints on the website in the next couple of weeks, so watch out for those.. and last, but not least, i will be revamping this site soon, so stay tuned for that. take care all and to all a good night.

so decided to try to start updating the site again. obviously, I have changed a couple of things. I've been pursuing my MA in Printmaking this year, in case you didn't know..So that's why the big slow down here.speaking of prints, look in the shop, and see I have just released 6 new prints for sale. There are some big screenprints, and a new print gocco for you people who like small things.

let's see. what's been going on? winter in london is not so bad. i like the feeling from being very cold to very warm. so more shows... expo 08, the inspire show, and a few others coming up. the best way to keep up is at my flickr. besides that school, work school, work sleep laundry sleep.

so yeah. i'm sorry i haven't been updating. i am now living in london. this is a good city for me. a lot of stuff has happened. some good and some bad. the ass who subletted my apartment in LA decided to throw away the majority of my belongings (including artwork) and left my animals to fend on their own, so a bit of drama. hopefully, it's smoother sailing from here.
if you are interested, you can see my life here so far at this link.i've been in a few shows since i moved here. one at the bodhi gallery on brick lane, the Yo! what happened to peace show at the foundry on old street, a couple at monkeyhouse toys in LA, and currently, I am in the stuffed show at munky king..more coming up soon, including the welcome to dollywood show at monkeyhouse in december.speaking of the monkeyfarm, if you are in LA, you can pick up some of my paintings and the trunk from peel magazine's "trick your trunk" contest there. so i am told the vinyl figures and such will be ready for release early next yr. keep your fingers crossed.

well. i am moving to London to go to Camberwell for grad school (printmaking) in September, so I suppose that is the biggest news in a while.

On May 20, I will be at Dublab Community Record Fair at the Ex-Plex in Echo Park, LA . I will have a little booth set up where you can buy my plush dolilies, tshirts (incluiding brand new designs (all uniquely hand printed), prints, sticker packs and more. Come on out. 2pm-2am (i will be leaving @ 10pm)

The Inspiration Art Show, a celebration of global art, is up thru May 28 in Jerusalem, Israel now at the Barbur Gallery.A couple of other big shows are coming up soon, will post when allowed. One is a "secret" and one, I don't have the details, but it's in Long Beach.The toys are supposed to come out by November at latest. 3 vinyl figures and a plush, so stay tuned on that. 02.26.07
The Dave Circus Punk for Peel Magazine is in and I'm signing them today and then they will be off to Peel Headquarters.

Nifty little thing.. miss olive's stickers have made it into the printmaking collection at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London. Not sure how they got their hands on them, but we're in good company.

Pictoplasma was really great. Thanks Lars and Peter for putting so much effort into making it so good.
Really enjoyed hanging out with Cute Crimes Crew, Bloodybunny, Juicefoozle, and his lady, Doe, among tons of others.

Some favourite presenters were Ian Stevenson, Wayne Horse, Derrick Hodgson, Friends with You, and Jon Burgerman, who we met again later at his opening at Lazy Oaf in London. You're a nice fellow, Mr. Burgerman and we liked your show. Thank you for the cupcakes and beer. Also, Lisbon was really beautiful. Many thanks to the one I stayed with. Did most of my street work in that city, which is covered with it.I 'll be in New York for the Methods/Peel 7 Issue release/Stickerthrow on the 18th. I believe you'll be seeing the Circus Punk dolls I designed for Peel Magazine there. More on this later. oh shit! so, i didn't have any money and let the puffbots domain name go, because it wasn't really doing much and a porn site bought it. anyway, i have nothing to do with the url anymore..so, don't think i've gone creepy on you.
